Snow Showers Gradually Ending - Then Turning Bitter Cold and Windy

Snow showers are expected to gradually taper off in most areas by late morning or early afternoon, with additional accumulations of a dusting to an inch or so. Flurries may linger, especially to the East of the Hudson Valley. Strong gusty wind and bitterly cold air will follow the snow this afternoon into Saturday with -15 to -25 degree wind chills developing.

ValleyCats help rebuild Schohaire little leage field

The Schoharie Little League Field was one of many causalities of the flooding caused by tropical storm's Irene and Lee.
But the team scored a homerun when the Tri-City ValleyCats took time from their busy schedules to lend a hand in rebuilding a new field for the aspiring ball players.
