Light to Locally Moderate Snow Storm From Sunday Afternoon- Early Monday Morning

A weak area of low pressure will cross the region from late Sunday through early Monday morning bringing a period of accumulating snow which will begin as some light and spotty snow on Sunday afternoon. A steadier snow will develop through the evening and into Sunday night. Expect slow and slick travel conditions Sunday night with variable snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3 in the Capital Region to as much as 5"-7" in terrain favored areas in the Adirondacks, Lake George-Saratoga Region, Vermont and Berkshire County.

Five months after Irene hit, communities devastated by flooding are celebrating the small victories as they struggle to rebuild.
One family-owned restaurant that lost everything in the storm was the Middleburgh Diner, a fixture in the town for over 30 years.
