FROST - FREEZE ADVISORIES UP FOR PARTS OF THE REGION TONIGHT

Some higher elevated areas have already seen frost in the past week, but tonight will likely be the coolest so far this season, and frost is expected to be more widespread, including some lower elevations. Frost is not expected in the Capital Region, or southern Hudson Valley, but will be likely in cooler locations. Delicate plants should be protected or brought inside where possible.

Amsterdam flood damage; historic building swept away

Montgomery County dealt with massive flooding after torrential rains from tropical storm Irene hammered the area.
After the rain stopped, Marci Natale spent the day near a section of the Thruway between Amsterdam and Fultonville where traffic was backed up for miles, bringing an update on the extent of the damage.
