Traffic on 787 was delayed Thursday morning after a septic tank fell onto the roadway as the a truck tried to merge onto 787 South. No reports of any injury.
An accident on 787 near exit 5 southbound had traffic backed up for around an hour. The DOT says four cars were involved in the accident that shut down one lane of the road, no word on what caused the crash.
Fire crews were called to the once popular nightspot Sarataoga Winners early Thursday morning. The fire at the Colonie building shut down a portion of Route 9 for several hours. No one was injured.
