Scotia-Glenville primed for big winter

Schenectady, NY - The Scotia-Glenville Tartans may have lost three key players to graduation from their 27-0 NYS Class A Federation championship team -- but the talent that's coming back in 2014-15 still looks plenty formidable.

Friday night at the Schenectady YMCA, Scotia-Glenville had its way with Schenectady in a summer league basketball game.

Led by UAlbany bound Joe Cremo, and fellow rising senior Mike Palleschi, the Tartans were never threatened by the Patriots.

Although their classmate, Scott Stopera, suffered a back injury early in the first half, and had to be carried off the court.  Late Friday night on Twitter, the rising senior point guard wrote, "I'll be back don't worry, just a minor setback for a greater comeback".
