End of a Journey for John Robinson

Albany, NY - Glenmont's John Robinson credits his wife Andrea for providing him the inspiration to ride his hand cycle across New York State for charity.

"My wife is a force, and a life partner, and a wonderful caring human being," said John Robinson.  "She is somebody that has inspired me to achieve more in life."

The Robinsons rode together into the Corning Preserve Monday morning to conclude their 350 mile trip along the Erie Canal from Tonawanda to Albany.

Andrea choked back tears while talking about her husband and father of their three children, "He's a very courageous person.  (He) plows through whatever obstacle there is."

John Robinson was born a congenital amputee.
