Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Springer has sprung for the Houston Astros

Houston, TX - George Springer made his professional baseball debut with the Tri-City ValleyCats in August of 2011.  Wednesday night, Houston's former 1st round draft pick out of UConn made his major league debut as the Astros hosted the Royals at Minute Maid Park.

After grounding out his first at bat in the bottom of the 1st inning, Springer got his first MLB hit in the 3rd inning on a well placed swinging bunt that barely traveled a third of the way down the third base line.
