POTENTIAL WINTER STORM WEDNESDAY INTO THANKGIVING

There remains considerable uncertainty in the track and intensity of an anticipated coastal storm from Wednesday afternoon through early Thanksgiving morning, but confidence is increasing for a storm to bring accumulating snow to much of the region which would cause travel difficulty.  Details on amounts and timing will become more clear over the next twelve to twenty four hours.  Keep up to date on the forecast.

Claverack woman airlifted after shed fire

CLAVERACK -- A Claverack woman was airlifted to the Weschester burn Center on Thursday after a shed fire.

State Police say the woman, whose identity has not yet been released, sustained burns over 90 percent of her body.

The fire, which erupted on the property on Routes 9H and 23 in Claverack, was reported to 911 by a passing driver. When fire crews arrived on the scene, the shed, located near a home, was fully engulfed in flames.

State Police at Livingston are investigating the incident.
