Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Occasional snow of varying intensity will continue to fall across the eastern New York and likely redevelop across western New England through the evening hours.  Bursts of locally moderate to heavy snowfall will continue with additional snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3" through 7pm.  Expect slow and slippery travel conditions through this evening.

Man allegedly tries to suffocate resident at nursing home

MONTGOMERY COUNTY - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says that they arrested a man on attempted murder charges stemming from an incident at a nursing home on Saturday.

Officials say they arrested 73-year-old Edgar Morey after he allegedly tried to suffocate a resident of the nursing home with a pillow.

Officials say Morey was visiting the resident whom he knew. 

Morey was arrested for Second Degree Attempted Murder and was sent to Montgomery County Jail on bail.

The victim is reportedly stable and was treated for injuries.
