2 teenagers charged in 81-year-old woman's death

GOSHEN, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities have charged two New York teenagers with murder in connection with the death of an 81-year-old woman whose body was found inside her burning home last weekend.

The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports
that 17-year-old Jennifer Molyneaux of the town of Wallkill and 19-year-old Devin Giordano of Goshen were charged with second-degree murder and are being held in Orange County Jail without bail. It couldn't be determined if they have lawyers.

The charges stem from Saturday's early morning fire at the village of Goshen home of Helen Mills. Officials say firefighters found her dead in her bedroom after the blaze was reported around 4 a.m.

No other information has been released. Police and the district attorney have scheduled a news conference late Monday morning at the trooper barracks in Middletown.
