Woman arrested after allegedly firing shotgun

LAKE GEORGE - The Warren County Sheriff's Office says a woman was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly firing a shotgun.

Officials say they responded to the residence on Thomson Avenue in Lake George for a report of a woman firing at a residence.

Officials say 30-year-old Derek Ford and 41-year-old Jennifer Dodson were involved in an argument over Ford's barking dog.  Officials say Dodson then allegedly retrieved a shotgun from her residence and fired a round towards the general area of Ford and his dog.

Sheriffs charged Dodson with Second Degree Menacing, Second Degree Reckless Endangerment, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a residence.

Dodson was held in police lock up in lieu of bail and is expected to appear in court in late August.
