WWI aircraft new addition to local museum

GLENVILLE -- A World War I aircraft is now calling the Schenectady County Airport in Glenville home, thanks to the Empire State Aerosciences Museum.

The plane is part of the two new exhibits revealed on Tuesday as part of the museum's week-long 30th anniversary celebration. Visitors to the museum can get an up close and personal look at the historic aircraft.

The B-17 Flying Fortress arrived in the Capital Region on Tuesday, and will be open for tours the entire week.
