Waterford McDonald's reopens after fire

WATERFORD -- It was a grand re-opening for the McDonald's on Saratoga Avenue.

The original building burned down late last year, but the local VFW was on hand to help raise the American flag in front of the new restaurant. There were also plenty of prizes and giveaways for diners. The owner, Roger Grout, calls the rebuilding process, Ashes to Arches.

Grout says he helped find jobs for most of his workers following the fire and was able to hire more staff to work at the newly rebuilt location.
