Police: Mother and child located after 8 months

LIVINGSTON - A mother and child, listed as missing back in December of 2013 by State Police in Livingston have been located.

Police say Nicia Wilson,28, and her son Elijah Wilson were temporary residents of a Columbia County shelter when they disappeared in December.

Investigators say the family was not cooperative, claiming Wilson and her son were fine, however refusing to cooperate to confirm with police.

On Thursday both mother and child were located in Albany County, appearing at Albany County Family Court.

Because Police have determined that Wilson and her son have been located, the case was closed.

The case is now being handled by Albany Family Court.
