MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW STORM WED. AM THROUGH WED. NIGHT

Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

NY internships available to college students

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Civil Service Commissioner Jerry Boone says the application deadline is approaching for hundreds of internship opportunities available within New York State government.
  
He's encouraging college students to submit applications for the fall semester as soon as possible. The deadline is Sept. 8.
  
New York state created a website, www.nysinternships.com , where students can see and apply for internships in agencies both downstate and upstate.
  
Opportunities include both paid and unpaid positions. Internships may include academic credit depending on the college policy.
