Protesters rally against oil trains

ALBANY -- Dozens of protesters gathered outside the Governor's Mansion to speak out against oil trains.

An average of 44 oil trains move through the state each week on their way to coastal refineries.

A public forum is being held in Plattsburgh on Thursday night to discuss oil train safety in the Eastern Adirondacks and Champlain Valley. Several groups are expected to be in attendance, including emergency services directors and federal spill response officials.
