Colonie middle school back to normal after lockout

COLONIE -- It was a tense moment for students and staff at the Lisha Kill Middle School in Colonie.

The district reports the South Colonie Summer School program went into lockout after receiving work that a threat was made on a student. Police say two teens got into an argument on the phone on Thursday over a girl when one of the young men threatened to shoot the other the next time he saw him.

Officials say no one was hurt and the program is back to running as usual. Police are now in the process of investigating the teen who allegedly made the threat. A judge signed a warrant for the teen on Friday, but he has not yet been located.
