Police ask public for help locating stolen cows

KINGSBURY -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find seven calves stolen from a Kingsbury farm.

Officials say the animals were just one to two weeks old when they were taken from a farm near the intersection of Hendee Road either late on Sunday or early Monday morning. The owner of the calves says the animals are worth between $500 and $1,000 each.

The stolen animals are black and white Holsteins, one of which had some red coloring. The thief also took several bats of milk replacer feed for the animals.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at (518) 747-4623.
