Man who fled police, jumped off Dunn Memorial Bridge sentenced

ALBANY -- One of the two men who jumped off the Dunn Memorial Bridge in March after leading police on a high-speed chase will spend 4 years in prison.

Dahmeek McDonald received that sentence on Monday in Albany County Court. Police say the car he was driving during the chase was involved in a shooting the night before. Police also found him with crack cocaine after he jumped.

The other man, Jayvon Daniels, faces up to 9 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
