Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Man arrested after "nostalgia" trip to Mohawk River

MOHAWK - State Police say they arrested a man for drunk driving after he and a woman drove to the Mohawk River for the sake of "nostalgia.

Officials say 45-year-old Shaun Schriner of Fonda was found to have a blood alcohol content of .22%.

Police say they stopped the vehicle driven by Schriner after seeing him drive into the Town of Mohawk Department gravel storage area just after midnight Saturday morning. 

Schriner is due back in court next week.
