Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Train derailment results in diesel spill in Selkirk

SELKIRK - A minor train derailment at rail yard has resulted in a fuel spill.

Around 15 gallons of diesel spilled out of a pierced tank after a three car derailment occurred near Bells Crossing Road at around 7:00 Wednesday.

Officials say two of the cars were empty, the third was transporting plywood.

No injuries have been reported and the investigation on what caused the derailment is underway.
