There remains considerable uncertainty in the track and intensity of an anticipated coastal storm from Wednesday afternoon through early Thanksgiving morning, but confidence is increasing for a storm to bring accumulating snow to much of the region which would cause travel difficulty.  Details on amounts and timing will become more clear over the next twelve to twenty four hours.  Keep up to date on the forecast.

Home health aide charged with larceny

MAYFIELD - State Police have arrested a Schenectady woman accused of stealing from client while working as a home health aide.

Police say Nicole Sheroka, 40, worked as a home health aid from a private company and was found with stolen items in her possession from a home she had access to.

She was charged with felony grand larceny.

Police say Sheroka worked throughout the Capital Region. Anyone that may have had Sheroka as a Home Health Aide and have items missing are encouraged to contact the New York State Police in Mayfield at 518-661-5446.
