Hudson street closed for sinkhole repairs
HUDSON -- Hudson drivers should avoid Columbia Street for the next week as crews work to repair several large sinkholes caused by heavy rains.
The Superintendent from the Department of Public Works says the sewers in that part of the city were built about 150 years ago. The holes will cost at least $10,000 to fix and at least a week to repair.
Columbia Street will remain open during the repairs, but will likely be reduced to a single lane.
