NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities say a 20-year-old man obsessed with buses is accused of stealing a MTA bus and taking it on a 2-mile joy ride.

Transit officials say the bus was parked on a ramp at the transit complex by a driver who was on a break.

The MTA used GPS technology to track down the missing bus. Police caught up with Ellias around 2 a.m.

Ellias was charged with grand larceny and ordered held on $10,000 bial.

His foster father, Santiago Rivera, told the Daily News that Ellias was obsessed with buses.
