Man charged after allegedly ramming truck near State Troopers

GANSEVOORT-- A Greenfield Center man is facing a slew of charges after ramming another truck in front of State Police.
43-year-old Joseph Golden is charged with Menacing, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 5 counts of Reckless Endangerment, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, DWI and a host of vehicle and traffic law violations.
It happened Sunday while State Police were investigating a domestic incident on Northern Pines Road in Gansevoort.
Troopers were speaking to witnesses about what was going on and during the interviews; Golden allegedly drove to the home and intentionally rammed his truck into the back of another truck.
The troopers and 4 other people, including a 12-year-old child, had to take evasive action to avoid being hit by the truck that was pushed.
Golden drove off but while on Ballard Road, he hit yet another vehicle traveling east.
Troopers caught up with Golden at the scene of that crash and took him into custody.
He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and is set to appear again Thursday morning.
