Woman found with BAC three times legal limit

LAKE GEORGE - Warren County Sheriff's Office says they arrested a Potterville woman after she was found to have a Blood Alcohol Content three times the legal limit.

Sheriffs say 33-year-old Christina Burch was arrested late Friday after an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on State Route 9 in Lake George.  According to Sheriffs, Burch's vehicle veered off the roadway and struck an embankment causing it to overturn, eventually coming to a rest on all four tires.

During the investigation, officials say they found that Burch had consumed alcohol earlier in the meeting.  She then failed the standardized field sobriety test.  Sheriffs say Burch's BAC was discovered to be .24% and her charge was elevated to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

Burch, who was not injured in the crash, was released and is due back in court at a later date.
