Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Inmate charged with assault

FORT EDWARD -- A Troy man already locked up at the Washington County Jail is in more trouble.

Investigators say Joseph Rogers, 25, punched another inmate in the face, hurting that inmate's eye.

Rogers was incarcerated for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.

He is now charged with Assault 2nd, a felony.

He was arraigned in the Town of Fort Edward Court, and sent back to the Washington County Jail pending further proceedings.
