Police: two men arrested after traffic stop

Cobleskill - Police arrested two Albany men after a traffic stop turned into additional charges.
State Police say they stopped 28 year-old Richard Volmer  after allegedly  driving erratically on Route 7 in Cobleskill Sunday night.   Police say  they smelled marijuana and alcohol in the car.

An investigation revealed Volmer had a revoked license and an active arrest warrant in Albany.  He was arrested and charged with DWI.

His passenger 18 year-old Harold Albright III was arrested for possessing brass knuckles after a court order prevented him from possessing weapons.

Both men are in the Schoharie County Jail.
