Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Patchy areas of light snow wil persist through the evening with brief localized bursts of moderate snow possible through 8pm.  Additional snow accumulations will be spotty and light, generally 1" or less through the evening.  The cold air in place will continue to support slow and slippery travel conditions with less traveled roads, parking lots, and sidewalks remaining snow covered through the night.

Car crashes into limo, house in Columbia Co.

CLAVERACK -- It was a chaotic scene on Tuesday night after a car crashed into a limo and then into a house.

Police say the driver of the car was drunk at the time of the incident, which happened around 9:30 p.m. The car left the road and smashed into a recently restored limo before coming to rest inside the home located along Route 9H near the intersection with Stone Mill Road.

The driver was taken into custody. New York State Police say he will be charged with DWI.

No one was seriously injured in the crash.
