Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Patchy areas of light snow wil persist through the evening with brief localized bursts of moderate snow possible through 8pm.  Additional snow accumulations will be spotty and light, generally 1" or less through the evening.  The cold air in place will continue to support slow and slippery travel conditions with less traveled roads, parking lots, and sidewalks remaining snow covered through the night.

Former bank teller sentenced to prison

ALBANY -- A former bank teller will spend 3 to 9 years in prison after stealing from the bank where he worked.

Jeffrey Roscoe of Crown Point was sentenced on Tuesday for taking $80,000 from the Trustco branch on Whitehall Road. Officials say he then doctoring the books to hide the theft.

Roscoe will also be required to pay restitution.
