Volunteer fireman sentenced to jail

HUDSON -- A former volunteer fireman has been sent to jail for the next 2 to 5 years for stealing from his fire company.

Joseph Morrison pleaded guilty to bilking the City of Hudson fire companies out of more than $10,000 over a period of several years. Morrison was a past president of one of the companies, and used department credit cards to purchase home entertainment items and pornography.
