Students celebrate Pi Day at the Nano College

ALBANY -- The SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering hosted a Pi Day celebration on Friday.

Thirty Schalmont High School students learned about nanotech careers while snacking on some fresh pie. The day is celebrated around the world because the date (3.14) is roughly the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, represented by the Greek letter, "," which is approximately 3.14159.
