Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Brunswick State Police arrest 3 on DWI charges

BRUNSWICK - New York State Police in Brunswick arrested three men for DWI on Friday night.

Police say 24-year-old Mathew Smarro of Troy was stopped at around 10:41pm on Oakwood Avenue.  According to police he had a blood alcohol content level of .09 percent.

Police say they stopped 23-year-old Laurence Campbell of Johnsonville at approximately 11:30pm on ST-67.  Campbell allegedly was found to have a Blood Alcohol Content of .14 percent.

According to Police 23-year-old Joseph Cooper of Troy was stopped on Main Avenue at around 2:43am and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .09 percent.

All three men were released and are expected to re-appear in court at a later date.
