Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Occasional snow of varying intensity will continue to fall across the eastern New York and likely redevelop across western New England through the evening hours.  Bursts of locally moderate to heavy snowfall will continue with additional snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3" through 7pm.  Expect slow and slippery travel conditions through this evening.

Assistant Chief with 40 years of service dies.


DELHI - A man with 40 years in the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department has died in the line of duty.

Assistant Chief James Wilber was responding to a call Saturday morning when he went into cardiac arrest.  He was transported to Tri-Town Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Assistant Chief Wilber leaves behind a wife, son and sister.
