Brunswick man allegedly shoves officer after DWI arrest

BRUNSWICK - New York State Police say a Brunswick man shoved a trooper after they pulled him over for Driving While Intoxicated.

Police say they pulled over 52-year-old Peter Enzien on Saturday after he drove across hazard markings.  Police say they arrested him after failing a field sobriety test.

According to police once Enzien was at the Brunswick Barracks he refused to take a breath test and then shoved the arresting trooper and kicked over a camera stand.

Police say Enzien was charged with the aforementioned Driving While Intoxicated with additional charges of reckless endangerment of property and second degree Obstruction of Governmental Administration.

He was released to re-appear in court at a later date.
