Investigation continues into Sprakers breeder

ROOT -- State Police said 13 dogs were seized Wednesday evening from the controversial Flat Creek Border Collies Kennel. Earlier this month more than 30 dogs were seized from the property after several complaints.

The Montogomery County SPCA referred questions about the dogs health to state police, who declined to comment.

Breeder Herbert Weich declined an on camera interview with CBS 6 Thursday, but said he was being railroaded and hoped to get some of the dogs back. Weich referred questions to his attorney, who did not return our call.

Weich is already facing a charge of failing to provide adequate shelter for dogs. Police said no additional charges were filed following the warrant executed Wednesday and that the investigation is ongoing.
