Low pressure will quickly develop and move south of the New England coast through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning a fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Traffic stop leads to heroin bust

QUEENSBURY -- A Pennsylvania man and a Vermont woman were arrested on Thursday after State Police discovered 25 bundles of heroin.

Authorities say Julius Hester, 20, and Veronica Batease, 21, were pulled over on State Route 149 for vehicle and traffic infractions. They say Hester had about 25 bundles of heroin, and lied to the Troopers about his identity.

Batease was driving the car when it was pulled over. She was charged with traffic and vehicle violations as well as drug charges.
