DA: Woman sentenced for manslaughter to be released on bail

SARATOGA COUNTY -- A Clifton Park woman who was sentenced for manslaughter last week may be on her way out of prison already.

District Attorney Jim Murphy says an appellate judge will let Traci Briskin out on $75,000 bail on Friday. She was serving a 2.5-7.5 years in prison for the death of Thomas Baker.

Briskin was driving while impaired, speeding and blew through a stop sign when she hit Baker on Route 67 in Charlton last November. Baker died a month later.
