Snowstorm Well Underway - Periods of Heavy Snow and Difficult Travel into Tonight

Snowfall rates of 1" to at times 2" per hour are likely this afternoon and this evening across most of the area as low pressure passes to the region's south.  This will cause rapid accumulations and low visibility producing hazardous travel conditions.  The storm will begin winding down after 10-11pm with accumulating snow ending from west to east between 1am and 4am Thursday. Bank celebrates employee's 50 years as teller

GLENS FALLS -- After 50 years working for a local bank, Rod Kenyon is getting some special recognition.

Glens Falls National Bank honored Kenyon on Friday for his dedication and hard work. Dozens of people lined the inside of the Main Street branch and gave him a round of applause as he walked in.

Kenyon was given a plaque to mark his years of service.
