TROY -- Opening statements will begin on Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of taking part in a shootout that killed an aspiring rapper last year.

Quintril Clark is facing second degree murder charges for the shooting death of Sha-Kim Miller in March 2012. Clark was one of three men charged after a gun battle left Miller dead on the streets of Troy.

One of Clarks co-defendants pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years behind bars. The other is waiting for trial on murder charges.
