Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Police: Man threatened wife and her boyfriend, both TSA employees

COLONIE - The Albany County Sherriffs Office arrested a Watervliet man after allegedly sending harassing text messages to his estranged wife and her boyfriend, both TSA employees at the Albany International Airport.

Police say they arrested Shane Murphy, 25, of 1802 6th Avenue after sending the text alerts that were of a threatening nature in the early morning hours on Sunday. 

The estranged wife and boyfriend are both are employed by Transportation Security Administration at the Albany International Airport and reported the harassing texts when they reported to work.
Murphy was arraigned in Town of Colonie court on two charges of harassment and an order of protection was issued.  He also surrendered his registered firearm at the time of arrest.

Police are still investigating.
