Women accused of Walmart theft

EAST GREENBUSH -- Three women landed themselves behind bars when police say they tried to steal high-end items from a local Walmart with a toddler in tow.

Charnell Wardlow, Traci Johnson and Ellen Lockwood, all from the Bronx, were charged with grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say they stole almost $5,000 in TVs, computers, blenders, and other kitchen items. Lockwood allegedly had her 2-year-old daughter with her the whole time.

The three women were taken to the Rensselaer County Jail and the toddler was taken to a family friend.
