Low pressure will quickly develop and move south of the New England coast through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning a fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Kevin Melahey announced as new Saratoga Under Sheriff

SARATOGA -- Saratoga County Sheriff-elect Michael Zurlo announced that his new Under Sheriff will be Kevin Mullahey.

Mullahey started his career in 1978 with the Waterford Police Department.  "Kevin has an extensive background in law enforcement," Zurlo said in an interview Saturday morning with 1160 AM WABY.  Zurlo continued, "[Mullahey] is respected within the department and understands what it takes to keep our communities safe."

Under Sheriff-elect Mullahey said that he looks forward to serving with the newly elected sheriff.

Both Michael Zurlo and Kevin Mullahey get sworn in on January first.
