You Paid For It: Lake Champlain Bridge
CROWN POINT -- The lights are back on all along the new Lake Champlain Bridge, and officials with the NYS Department of Transportation tell us they are going to stay on this winter. Last winter snow and ice got into the electrical boxes along the span that connects Crown Point, NY and Chimney Point, Vermont. As a result, most of the 300 or so lights on the bridge went dark. Repairs were made this summer at an estimated cost of $430,000. Its still not clear who is going to cover that cost.
