TROY-- Troy's new drug task force is already making strides in the war on drugs.
Troy Detectives learned that a large delivery of crack cocaine was headed into the city today.
Detectives kept an eye out along the Hoosick Street corridor and around 1 p.m. and saw a suspicious vehicle entering the Troy Plaza parking lot.
They saw activity that confirmed the potential drug deal and moved in to make the bust.
39-year-old Henry Edwards of the Bronx was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and loitering.
34-year-old Sean Stewart of the Bronx was charged with Conspiracy and Loitering.
Police seized more than 100 grams of crack cocaine during the raid.
That's worth about $11,000 on the street.
