Boston bombing suspect took state welfare

BOSTON, MASS. -- One of the men accused of the Boston Marathon bombing was allegedly receiving state welfare in the year prior to the attack.

According to the Boston Herald, Tamerlan Tsarnaev received welfare benefits as late as 2012. His brother, Dzhokhar, also received a $2,500 scholarship from the City of Cambridge.
