Troy woman pleads not guilty to charges in Boston Bombing fund scam
BOSTON, MA-- The Troy woman accused of trying to bilk money from a Boston Marathon victim relief fund pleads not guilty to charges.
26-year-old Audrea Gause pleaded not guilty to Larceny over $250 and Gross Fraud in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston today.
Gause is accused of taking nearly a half million dollars from the "One Fund Boston".
She claimed she suffered a traumatic brain injury during the blast.
Investigators say she was nowhere near Boston that day.
Investigators say she tried to use the money to build a new home.
Gause remains behind bars on $200,000 cash bail.
