Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

25 train under professional swim program

LATHAM - 25 lucky swimmers got to train in the Michael Phelps Swim Clinic.

On Monday, swimmers from ages 7-17 from the Delmar Dolphins Swim Team were filmed by special underwater cameras to get insight into how to improve on their technique.

The U.S. Swim competitors are the first in Upstate New York used to measure competitive skills in the Michael Phelps Swim Clinic,  to improve their skills while working with Wave Propulsion technology.

"This will be a great learning opportunity for members of our team," said Deborah Erickson, coordinator for the Dolphins. "This is a rare chance for young swimmers to practice in the same swim spa that Michael Phelps uses, in addition to getting the chance to view and further improve their technique on video from the underwater cameras."
