Moderate to Heavy Snow @ Times to Continue Through the Evening

Narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow continue to evolve across the region in response to the storm developing to our south.  Expect periods of 1" to occasionally 2" per hour snowfall rates through 8-10pm with snowfall becoming lighter and more intermittent through the pre-dawn hours on Thursday. Poor to difficult travel conditions in low visibility and snow packed roads will persist well into the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Schenectady County Pedal-Paddle-Run Triathlon

SCHENECTADY -- On Saturday, Schenectady County hosted the Third Annual Pedal-Paddle-Run Triathlon.

"Schenectady County is proud to once again present Pedal-Paddle-Run, a day of wellness and community-building," said Schenectady County Legislator Cathy Gatta, Chair of the Committee on Tourism and Special Events. "I encourage all of our residents, businesses, community groups, and youth organizations to create teams and come together for this great day of fun, fitness, and community celebration."

The event began and ended at Collins Park in the Village of Scotia. Participants will Run, Bike, and Kayak/Canoe.
