Man shot in Troy

TROY -- A 21-year-old man is expected to survive being shot in Troy late Thursday afternoon.
Troy Police say they responded to shots fired around 2 p.m. in the area of Sixth Avenue.
When officers arrived, they spotted a car pulling away. The vehicle was stopped and the victim, Isiah Roundtree of Troy, was inside with a gunshot wound to his upper chest.
He was treated at the scene and then transported to Albany Medical Center.
Troy Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the shooting. Witnesses reported a black four-door sedan leaving the area at the time of the shooting, although investigators aren't sure if that car was involved in the incident.
